One pair of shoes could change your life... Ella I never imagined how true that statement could be. And yet, one pair of shoes changed everything. After falling into the arms of the most handsome, charming man I'd ever met at a Halloween party—and then into his bed—I never imagined I'd see him again. Certainly didn't expect to find myself paired up with him for the rest of the year as my Sorority's new President. And even though that initial spark between us didn't fade, I couldn't let myself be pulled in by his charms. Couldn't let him win. Cameron After she fled into the night, leaving only her shoes behind, I thought that was it. One night, no names—just like we agreed. But I couldn't get her face out of my mind. Couldn't stop wanting to be in her enchanting presence. But all I had was a pair of shoes. Until she showed up, newly appointed President of her sorority. And the catch? She had to work with my fraternity—with me, as President. Even if she seemed determined to hold me at arm's length, I knew I'd do whatever it took to win her over. To make her mine. The first book in a brand new fairytale-inspired college romance series!

My Thoughts:
I love the idea of a fairytale retelling set on a college campus! A Not So Prince Charming is a sweet and steamy story that is incredibly fun to read! Jennifer Chirpman did a great job keeping enough detail to get the fairytale feel without making it feel less modern.
I really liked Cam and Ella's relationship. He falls so hard for her and once she accepts her feelings she is just as devoted to him. This book is very focused on their relationship but I also got the feeling there was some interesting side drama going on with their friends that we'll learn about in future books.
My one complaint about this book is that there wasn't quite enough conflict. While I don't like unnecessary obstacles that keep characters apart I felt like this could have been a novella. I loved reading about Ella and Cam but I started to feel like the second half of the book was an extended epilogue.
I love the premise of this series and am excited to read the second book which is set up in this one! I think if you want a feel-good steamy read and like a new adult romance this one is perfect! I wouldn't recommend it for readers who want angst and however.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️- This book has quite a few open-door steamy scenes including foreplay that are very descriptive.
Thanks to Jennifer Chirpman for providing me with an eARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
