Blurb

Lily Parker hates commitment. Annual subscriptions? No thanks. Tattoos?? Not on your life. She's already planned to leave Fairwick Falls after being there for 11 months...until a rogue patch of ice lands her in mandated physical therapy. The problem? She really meant to get health insurance (really!) but...it slipped her mind.Unable to climb the stairs to her apartment, she moves in with the one person who has a first-floor bedroom and Nash Donnelly, her childhood-turned-teenage-turned-adult crush.Nash Donnelly needs a wife. His money-grabbing brother wants to oust him as bank president based on an arcane 200 year old bylaw. Nash must act quickly to prevent Fairwick Falls' only bank from falling prey to his brother's scheme to sell to a large corporate competitor.Who better to be a wife-of-convenience than the woman who moved in with him...and whose lips he's dreamed of for months. They propose a simple health insurance for marriage until the bylaws can be changed. Then they can happily go their separate ways, no commitment necessary......right?

My Thoughts:

I have really enjoyed the first two books in this series and I loved this one just as much! Lily and Nash are impossible not to root for!

If you ever felt like you should move to a small town and open a flower shop this series is for you. I know very little about flowers and am a city girl but sometimes I have a bad day and just think doesn't that sound relaxing? (It's probably not but I am naively unaware of the challenges). I loved how each sister had a skill to bring to the business and their own relationship to their dad.

Nash and Lily were adorable. Mutual pining always gets me, especially when the crush started in childhood for one of them. I will say it was a tad slow burn for me but that's just because I'm impatient not any reflection on the quality of the writing. I loved how Nash cared for Lily and also liked that Lily didn't just take his money and go crazy. She reacted how I think I would react if I suddenly had to worry about money a lot less.

🌶️🌶️🌶️- This book has a few open door steamy scenes and a lot of longing/ sexual tension. There is some light consensual bdsm

Thank you so much to Elise Kennedy for providing me with an arc! All opinions are my own.
