My Thoughts:

Immortals After Dark is probably my favorite series of all time! It was so fun to jump back into that world and visit some familiar characters. I love to see that as usual, Nix is planning things with Bertil's support and Loreans are falling in love.

Rök and Poppy's story is a fun quick read. It has spooky vibes but things can only get so spooky with a demon who is head over heels in love, even if Poppy doesn't realize it. I liked watching them realize that they care about each other and I'm super intrigued to see how the developments in this story affect the next book!

This is an ongoing series and it is truly best read from the beginning. The characters develop over multiple books and we slowly learn the rules of the Lore in a way that isn't overwhelming. If people are interested in jumping into the series but not up for going back to the beginning, Sweet Ruin is probably the best place to try to jump in more recently as it is sort of the start of a new arc. However, Shadow Seduction and Munro have significant ties to earlier books.

I read an eARC of this book, however, I can say without even listening that the audio will be fantastic. Robert Petkoff does these books and he does a wonderful job! I've listened to all the rest on audio and it's the way to go!

🌶️🌶️🌶️ - This one only has a couple of open door scenes, however, there are paranormal elements involved in the spice. If you aren't a paranormal reader it might not be for you. If you have read the series it's not anything you'll find shocking.

Thank you to Kresley Cole for providing me with an eARC! All opinions are my own.
